Dreem Digital Announces Accredited Classes

Dreem Digital is pleased to announce that our iPad in the Classroom  training course has been accredited for 0.5 continuing education units by Willamette University. This Six (6) hour course designed for educators, helps teachers understand what they can do with the iPad and how they can integrate mobile technology into their classrooms. Courses are being offered on the campus of Willamette University, and plans are in the works to expand the offerings throughout the northwest. Andres Montgomery, CEO of Dreem Digital commented, “We are very excited to work with teachers to improve the use of mobile technology in their classrooms and excited about out partnership with Willamette University.”

There are currently three formats of the course to fit teacher’s schedules. Two of the formats are 2-hours, each a week apart, one course is in the morning from 9-11 AM, while the other is in the afternoons from 1-3 PM. The third format is all six hours in one day.  According to Mr. Montgomery, “The three-week course gives the teacher a chance to learn new concepts and then try them out for a week before the next lesson. We feel this will give the teacher the best experience, but we also realized that some teachers may desire to do the whole course in one day. We wanted to ensure that we gave the teachers as much flexibility as possible without compromising the course.”

The course itself is priced at $299 which includes the CEU’s. Attendees need to bring their own iPad or Dreem Digital has tuition packages that include an iPad. The course size is limited to provide an optimum teacher/student ratio. All in all, Dreem Digital’s iPad in the Classroom course offers teachers more that just training, it offers them practical instruction to engage and interact with their students.
